Complete Gut and Remodel
What was considered an eyesore was turned into a center piece of outdoor activity.
Existing pool structure was built with vinyl walls, concrete floor and precast coping. The deck and retaining wall were in need of structural and cosmetic repairs.
We started with the gutting of the walls, coping and areas of the concrete shell. Excavated the area needed to add a hot tub. Next – rough plumbed and electrical to the pool and hot tub. Installed structural steel and bonding. After inspections – proceeded to Gunite the pool and elevated hot tub. We added bullnose brick coping and a brick apron to match up with the elevation of the pool and existing deck. The hot tub was finished with all brick and double bullnose brick with spill ways into the pool. Tile was then completed. Finished the pluming, electrical and installation of the pool equipment. Last was to refinish and resurface the deck and retaining wall – followed by plaster. Filled pool – started and tested all equipment.
Complete Pool Renovation and Modern Upgrade
This project focused on restoring and upgrading a family’s favorite outdoor space.
Over time, the pool beam, tile, and coping showed clear signs of wear. In addition, the deck surface and plaster had aged and needed a full refresh to improve both appearance and safety.
First, we removed the existing coping and tile to access the pool structure. Next, we repaired all structural issues in the pool beam. After that, we reinforced the beam using gunite to ensure long-term strength and stability.
Once the structure was secure, we installed bullnose brick coping to align perfectly with the pool’s elevation and the existing deck. Then, we completed the new tile installation to enhance the overall look of the pool.
After the tile work, we refinished and resurfaced the deck to give it a clean, updated finish. Finally, we prepared and replastered the pool interior, filled the pool with water, and started up the system. We also tested all equipment to confirm proper performance.
As a result, the pool now offers improved durability, updated style, and a refreshed space the family can enjoy for years to come.
